Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedules, and quality.
- Implement the Group’s sourcing strategy and policies in alignment with corporate strategy and values.
- Lead specific purchasing categories to meet internal customer needs with optimal service levels and competitive costs.
- Take a leading role in negotiations, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier service quality and performance.
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services to be purchased.
- Provide accurate management information and reporting to support global projects and overall company strategy.
Missions
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process from requisition to delivery.
- Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers and guarantee on-time delivery by expediting orders, tracking shipments, and resolving customs clearance issues.
- Act as a key interface between suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments such as Supply Chain, Marketing, IT, and Sales.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential suppliers based on company requirements; assess and manage supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts and secure advantageous commercial terms and deadlines.
- Monitor and update price fluctuations, forecast market trends, and analyze their impact on future activities.
- Develop and implement processes and strategies to achieve or exceed cost-saving and supplier performance targets.
- Ensure suppliers understand and align with business objectives.
- Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and procurement reports.
