Health and Safety Week 2025

At Winoa, the safety and well-being of our employees is more than just a priority  it is a core value embedded in everything we do. Every year, we reaffirm this commitment through our Health & Safety Week, a global initiative designed to raise awareness, provide training, and engage all employees around a critical and often underestimated topic: hand protection. Our hands are our most valuable tool essential to our work, yet vulnerable if not properly safeguarded.

In 2025, Health & Safety Week was once again deployed across all Winoa sites worldwide, reflecting our unified approach to safety across continents, cultures, and roles. From interactive workshops and practical demonstrations to open discussions and team-building activities, the week offered a wide range of engaging formats aimed at reinforcing safe behaviors and encouraging dialogue at every level of the organization.

This global event brought together employees, team leaders, and safety experts to share experiences, best practices, and innovative ideas all with one shared goal: to ensure that every person returns home safely at the end of the day. By focusing on prevention and education in a dynamic and inclusive way, we continue to build a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility, and where care for one another is part of our everyday mindset.

France

In France, the Health & Safety Week was marked by a series of practical and engaging activities. Employees had the opportunity to enjoy seated AMMA massage sessions, promoting muscle relaxation and the prevention of musculoskeletal disorders. A fire extinguisher usage workshop helped refresh the correct responses in case of fire. Additionally, special attention was given to protective gloves, with demonstrations and testing of various models suited to everyday risks. These initiatives strengthened awareness of hand safety in both an educational and friendly setting.

Slovenia

In Slovenia, the Health & Safety Week featured first aid training, enabling employees to become familiar with the appropriate responses in case of an accident. Several varied workshops were organized, including outdoor stretching sessions to promote well-being and prevent musculoskeletal disorders. Other activities also focused on raising safety awareness in a dynamic and participatory setting.

Brazil

In Brazil, the week was marked by strong team interaction, encouraged by educational games combining training and entertainment. These fun activities helped reinforce prevention messages in an engaging way. Employees also took part in collaborative workshops and tested different types of gloves and equipment adapted to their daily use. Special attention was given to raising awareness about chemical risks.

India

In India, the Health & Safety Week combined prevention and well-being. Workshops raised awareness about repetitive movements and their impacts, providing advice on adopting good postures. Yoga sessions helped relax muscles and improve concentration. Evacuation drills and risk management exercises were also conducted, strengthening the culture of safety and well-being at work.

Thailand

In Thailand, the Health & Safety Week featured drawing workshops that encouraged employees’ creativity while raising safety awareness. Stretching sessions, including hand stretches, were offered to help prevent musculoskeletal disorders. A presentation dedicated to hand safety highlighted the importance of protecting this essential tool in daily life. These activities fostered a fun and practical engagement around prevention.

Thank you all for your commitment and active participation during this Health & Safety Week. Together, we’ve strengthened our safety culture and reminded ourselves that protecting our well-being starts with simple, daily actions.
