Winoa France OctoMov 2026
For the second consecutive year, Winoa France hosted the team from the “l’Institut du sein et des cancers de Savoie” Research for an awareness workshop “OctoMov” focused on the prevention of cancers affecting both women and men. This practical initiative was designed to inform employees, encourage screening, and remind them of the importance of taking care of their health.
Prevention begins with information
The health and well-being of employees are key commitments of Winoa. In this effort, awareness and prevention play a crucial role: understanding risks better, recognizing warning signs, and knowing whom to turn to are reflexes that can make a difference.
In this spirit, Winoa France organized an “OctoMov” workshop focused on the prevention of female and male cancers, in collaboration with the “Institut du sein et des cancers de Savoie”.
Through this session, participants received professional advice, asked questions, and learned simple practices to better understand their bodies and identify potential anomalies.
A practical workshop to learn to recognize cancer signs
Beyond theoretical explanations, this meeting focused on practical scenarios to make prevention messages more approachable.
Participants practiced self-examination using educational materials.
These models allowed them to search for nodules and become familiar with the various anomalies that can be detected during an examination.
The goal was to better understand how to perform these actions, recognize what can be identified, and, importantly, realize the need to consult a healthcare professional in case of doubt or unusual changes.
The workshop also addressed several essential questions:
- How to correctly perform self-examination?
- What signs should alert us?
- What to do if there is doubt or an anomaly is discovered?
These interactions provided attendees with practical information and tailored advice in an open and supportive environment.
Screening and medical monitoring: essential habits in the fight against cancer
Cancers affect different groups, but they both emphasize the importance of knowing your body and not ignoring unusual changes.
Breast cancer affects about one in eight women in their lifetime. The risk notably increases with age, and vigilance along with medical follow-ups are essential.
Testicular cancer primarily affects younger men, especially between the ages of 18 and 35. Being familiar with one’s body and noticing any changes can lead to early intervention.
Self-examination is a way to better understand your body and detect potential anomalies. However, it does not replace a medical examination or screening recommendations tailored to each individual. If in doubt, it is important to consult a healthcare professional without delay.
By renewing this initiative for the second consecutive year, Winoa France reaffirms its commitment to promoting a culture of prevention that considers everyone’s health and well-being.
This initiative is part of a broader approach to health and safety within the Group. Beyond workplace risk prevention, it is also crucial to empower employees to be informed and proactive about their daily health.
